Utilities District of Western Indiana REMC is accepting bids for excavation, underground electric facility installation, and backfilling services to be performed during years 2017 and 2018. Requests for bid packets are being accepted until Monday, December 12 2016 at 4:30 PM. Interested parties should email firstname.lastname@example.org. A pre-bid meeting for interested parties is scheduled for December 16, 2016 at the UDWI Office in Bloomfield at 9:00 AM. Bids must be returned to the UDWI office by 11:00 AM on Friday January 13. Bids will be presented to the Board of Directors at the next regular board meeting the evening of January 23, 2017 and contractors will be notified of the results via phone call on January 24. Winning contractors shall be expected to have their employees at a mandatory safety training meeting on Monday January 30 at 9:00 AM. UDWI will begin assigning Work to winning contractors in February of 2017. Bid results will be posted online no later than January 30.
