UDWI understands the importance of fast and reliable high-speed internet to its members. That’s why we are dedicated to improving and expanding the availability of the fiber-optic broadband network in our service area.

UDWI is teaming up with community organizations to install fiber in brand new locations. Check out our current projects below, and be on the lookout for new partnerships.

SCI

UDWI and Mainstream Fiber Networks announced in 2024 their partnership in the largest fiber project for the cooperative’s service territory.

SCI REMC and UDWI are working to bring gigabit broadband internet service to around 200 unserved homes and businesses in the north-central portions of UDWI’s territory.
